Moving boxes that don't fall apart.
Hire strong, lidded plastic crates for your move. We deliver them stacked and ready from our Canterbury depot, you pack straight in, and we collect when you're done. No tape, no flat-pack, no soggy cardboard.
How many crates will you need?
Includes free delivery and collection within 30 miles of our Canterbury depot. Add or drop crates any time before delivery.
- Washed and inspected between hires
- Next-day delivery slots across Kent
- Crates delivered and collected to the door
Four steps, no assembly.
Most people book on Monday and are packing on Wednesday.
Pick a pack
Choose by bedrooms, or tell us what you're moving and we'll size it for you. Add extra crates, skates and packing paper if you want them.
We deliver
Crates arrive nested in stacks of ten, on a day you pick. You don't need to be in — we'll leave them where you tell us.
Pack and move
Lids fold closed and lock. Full crates stack six high, wheel on a skate and stay dry in the rain.
We collect
Leave the empties nested where we can reach them. We take them away, wash them, and they go out to the next move.
Three crates cover almost everything.
All made from food-grade polypropylene with folding, interlocking lids. Every crate is washed and inspected between hires.
Built to be used, not folded up
Injection-moulded polypropylene with an attached two-piece lid, reinforced corners and a moulded-in handle at each end. They stack square, they don't sag when they're full, and they don't care about rain.
Every crate carries its own barcode, so we know exactly which crates are on your job and which came back. Nothing is guessed at on your invoice.

Why not just use cardboard?
You can. Here's what changes when you don't. A crate takes 25 kg without complaint, seals shut with no tape, stacks six high, and goes back to us at the end instead of into your recycling.
Hired plastic crates
- Arrive ready to fill; no cutting, folding or taping
- Lids lock shut and stack six high without crushing
- Waterproof, so a wet pavement or a rainy loading bay doesn't matter
- Tamper seals available for valuables and confidential files
- Each crate is used a few hundred times before it's recycled
- Collected from your new place, so nothing to flatten or dispose of
New cardboard boxes
- Half an hour of assembly for a 2-bed move, plus tape
- Bottom gives way if overloaded or damp
- Stack two or three high before they start to lean
- Around £90 of boxes for a 2-bed, most used once
- A car boot full of flattened cardboard to get rid of afterwards
Storing, not moving?
Crates work just as well in a garage, loft or storage unit as they do in a van. Lids keep the dust and damp out, and a sealed crate is a lot harder to rummage through than a taped box.
Long-term hire starts at £2.50 per crate per month with a three-month minimum, delivered and collected the same way. Plenty of customers keep a few for years.

Bulk crates, lockable IT crates with foam inserts, and skates by the dozen. We deliver out of hours, label by department if you send us a list, and collect floor by floor as you settle in.
Send us a rough headcount and we'll come back with a plan the same day.
Plan an office moveQuestions people ask
Do I have to be in for delivery or collection?
No. Tell us a safe place — a porch, side passage or garage — and we'll leave them there and text you a photo. For collection, leave the empties nested where we can reach them from the street.
What if I need more crates halfway through packing?
Ring or email and we'll top you up, usually next working day. You only pay the pro-rata weekly rate for the extras.
Can I extend my hire?
Yes, any time. Extensions are charged at £1.20 per crate per week and you can pay online or over the phone. Just let us know before your collection date.
What happens if a crate gets damaged or lost?
Normal scuffs and marks are fine and expected. A crate that comes back cracked or doesn't come back at all is charged at £18, a lid at £6. It's rare.
Are the crates clean?
Every crate goes through a wash and a visual check before it goes out again. If one arrives that doesn't look right, put it aside and we'll replace it.
Where do you deliver?
We're based in Canterbury and cover Kent and the south east: Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Faversham, Ashford, Margate, Ramsgate, Dover, Folkestone, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and the villages between. Delivery and collection are free within 30 miles of the depot, £25 each way up to 80 miles, and further afield by arrangement.
Do you hire to businesses and removal companies?
Yes. We have trade accounts with monthly invoicing and priority delivery slots. Get in touch for trade rates.
